Jodie takes pride in:

  • her genuine focus on holistic hearing health outcomes

  • taking the time to connect with clients to gain clear understanding of their needs & shape tailored hearing rehabilitation plans

  • being part of the community she is dedicated to serving

Jodie is passionate about all aspects of Audiology, but takes a particular interest in:

  • complete adult rehabilitation (including device management, cochlear implants, auditory training, & tinnitus counselling)

  • paediatric testing (hearing, central auditory processing) & providing effective guidance to a child’s support network (including parents, teachers and others) to maximise their hearing, learning & development potential.

Away from the clinic, Jodie is an avid bookworm, budding pianist & is kept busy raising three beautiful daughters.

Ben Miles

Senior Audiometrist/Owner

DipAud., MACaud

Meet Ben, our clinic’s Audiometrist. Having reinvented himself from a successful previous career in town planning, Ben is now an experienced & highly skilled hearing health practitioner who is passionate about supporting people with hearing loss live their best lives.

Ben specialises in adult hearing testing & rehabilitation & loves hitting the road – taking Mackay Hearing’s high quality services to appreciative clients at visiting sites in Sarina, Mirani & Bowen.

Away from the clinic, Ben is usually found in or around water (swimming, surfing, canoeing, active member of the local swimming club) or bushwalking, & loves exploring Queensland & beyond with his family. Ben was raised in Mackay’s northern beaches but now calls East Mackay home.

    Robyn

Meet Robyn, our Clinician and a truly calm, smiling and gentle presence in our clinic.

Robyn was raised in the Pioneer Valley, and enjoyed a long career as a veterinary nurse before transferring her skills and caring nature to our clinic. Robyn’s love of critters continues, with her very own menagerie of furry and feathered friends at her family home at Hampden, north of Mackay.

Feeling that she wasn’t busy enough with work, kids and animals, Robyn has decided to take-up roller hockey! Robyn is so sweet in the clinic, we’re a little worried how this is countered by her alter-ego at the rink. Opposing teams beware!

    Corissa

Meet Corissa, our Practice Manager. Being an expert listener and learner has helped Corissa to become a fountain of knowledge in our reception room.

Our clients (and clinicians) really appreciate Corissa’s commitment to knowing their needs and her knack of quickly devising a way forward, no matter the complexity of the conundrum. Corissa was raised and currently lives in the beautiful Pioneer Valley.

Corissa loves reading and getting out and about on local day trips exploring different corners of our region with her partner and their gorgeous little boy.

    Ava

Meet Ava, our Client Support Consultant & the young gun of the team. Ava is an excellent listener and has rapidly developed an outstanding knowledge base and professional skills that benefit our clients (and clinicians) every day. Ava is committed to knowing our client’s needs and has a knack of quickly devising an effective way forward when challenges arise.

Ava loves helping people and being part of a supportive team with lots of opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Ava has 2 younger sisters, and was raised and still lives in Walkerston with her family. When not rounding-up her duties in-clinic, you’ll find Ava rounding-up cattle on horseback! Ava is a mad-keen Camp Drafter and travels near and far to compete in events. Ava is also a proud and active member of the Nebo Bushman’s Committee. YEE-HAW!
